Advanced Voice Communications, Inc.

Advanced Voice Communications, Inc. was incorporated in May of 1988 to provide an outsourced Voice Mail and Voice Messaging service to businesses, institutions, organizations and individuals. In September 1988 our first system was installed in Providence, Rhode Island. Shortly thereafter our first customers began experiencing the power of AVC Voice Messaging. Many of these first customers are still with AVC today.

AVC prides ourselves in providing a highly reliable, feature rich offering that is superior to competitive systems.  AVC has recorded an impressive availability of over 99.9991% since 1988 which includes scheduled downtime for system upgrades and feature enhancements.

We have replaced our primary system 6 times during our 24 years in business.  Furthermore, we have made over 52 additional enhancements to our offerings. One of the latest is the ability to do all functions via telephone or our web interface. Others also include the ability to answer office, cellular and home office telephone with 1 AVC voice mailbox.

AVC was gained US Patents for our "full integration" technology. This patented solution allows AVC to provide voice mail and voice messaging to customers through out the US and the world from our powerful Providence based systems. For instance, an employee of a fully integrated customer in California will have their office telephone forwarded to AVC when it is busy or is not answered. The forwarding is an "on PBX" call on the customers telephone system in California. AVC, via our patented technology, immediately answers the call with our Providence based systems with the employees personal greeting. When the caller leaves a message, AVC lights the message light on the telephone in California. Or if the caller presses the Operator key AVC transfers the call to the customers Operator in California. There is no long distance and no off site call forwarding of any kind. Likewise when the employee retrieves messages they simply press their message key or dial an "on PBX" extension, again with no long distance involved.

AVC’s Disaster Communications plans allow you to continue to keep your customers and employees informed even during extended outages at your facilities. Because we are separated and diverse from your facilities, and because of our highly reliable systems, we are there when you cannot be. Two recent examples prove this: During the floods of 2011 AVC was never down even though the power was out at our site for nearly a week. AVC ‘s power systems, huge batteries, and standby generators kept our systems up and online through it all. And during hurricane Sandy our Disaster Recovery plan allowed our customers, throughout the Northeast, who were dramatically affected by this storm, to continue to update there customers and employees informed so they understood. We were available when they could not be.

AVC's people are dedicated to providing customer service that is beyond reproach. Our systems, our patents and our people are all equal in their importance to providing the highest quality service to our customers.
